about the artist

My name is Olivia Curell-Burdette. While I grew up just outside of Louisville, Kentucky, I now call home to Jeffersonville, Indiana. I started painting at the age of 13, taking art classes throughout high school. After spending two semesters at the University of Louisville, I transferred to Indiana University Southeast where I pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in painting. While in college, I found my favorite ways to paint and love for textured paintings. My inspiration comes from God and His creations in nature, from the most glorious sunsets to the smallest bug. I see God's handiwork in everything, and that is what I reflect in my paintings. While I have now graduated college, I strive to develop my techniques further and continue to express God's greatness.
